I had the pleasure of taking a Canadian group on a friends 26' tower boat on Sat the 22nd. Ken Craig and their buddy Cris were all part of the adventure. The live bait inshore were nonexistent so we headed out with what we had. The natural bottom north toward the Registery Resort was pretty good. There were no keeper Grouper, but we were not looking for food; so that made life easier for me. The King fish and Barracuda were all over the bait on one of my wrecks off shore. We got the big one after a few misses, but that's why you keep trying. The day was breezy and that kept the heat down and the sun was shining hard. It was a great day with lots of Loggerhead turtles to look at and we called it a day at 2:30 and made out way back to the dock to clean up the Mackerel.
